Bria Teams provides real time team messaging, presence, voice and video calling, screen sharing and cloud-hosted management tools, in a subscription package, on up to 3 devices per user. It enables teams of any type to streamline communications and collaborate effectively, regardless of where they are, what device they are on, or which network they are using. Additionally, Bria Teams provides SMBs and Enterprises with a way to digitally transform their communications by overlaying existing calling platforms/PBXs or integrating with VoIP services, enabling users to take their business number with them as their single identity.

How many messages can I send with the messaging service Bria Teams provides?

Users can send and receive unlimited team messages with CounterPath’s messaging service.

I have a really large team. Are there any limits on the number of users I can have?

There are no limits to the number of users in your subscription; however, if you would like to purchase a large quantity and have specific branding or feature requirements that may not be met by Bria Teams, please contact the CounterPath Sales Team and we can talk to you about creating a custom client for your organization. How is Bria Teams different from other Bria products?

Other Bria products are standalone softphones that require users to add call server (PBX) or hosted VoIP services to make and receive calls. Bria Teams is a subscription service offering, combining the feature richness of CounterPath’s Bria softphone suite with hosted services for team communication and collaboration, including messaging and presence, voice and video calling, and screen sharing. Additionally, an easy-to-use web portal is available to Administrators, offering the ability to provision and manage any size of team, view usage history and configure additional call server (PBX) settings to add business phone extensions.

How many calls can I make with the Bria Teams Team Voice service?

What devices can I download Bria Teams on?

You have the ability to increase and decrease the number of users in your subscription at any time.

How do I purchase Bria Teams?

You can manage your Bria Teams subscription plan and upgrade from a free trial at any time. Simply login to the Bria Teams Portal and click the “Subscribe” button if you are in the free trial, or click your user profile on the top right and then the “Manage Subscription” button.

Is the ``free`` trial really free?

The trial is 100% free and your credit card information will not be asked upfront.

What happens after my trial expires?

Just before your free trial expires you will receive a reminder email to let you know that your trial is coming to an end. You can convert to a paid subscription at any time during the trial, keeping all or some of the users you have added, and you will continue to keep all of your original settings.

Can I use Bria Teams App-to-App (Team Voice) calling feature to make an emergency or 911 call?

No. You cannot make an emergency or 911 call using Bria Teams App-to-Bria Teams App (Team Voice) calling feature.

Can I use Bria Teams to make an emergency or 911 call if it’s connected to my calling service?

The software, whether for mobile or fixed devices, is not intended, designed or fit for placing, carrying or supporting emergency calls to any emergency service or any call for the purpose of obtaining assistance, help or aid in the event of an emergency. Bria Team’s mobile software products may provide handling designed to redirect emergency calls to the native cellular dialer when possible on a reasonable commercial efforts basis, however this functionality is also dependent on the operating system of the mobile phone which is outside of our control and subject to change at any time.
