ADTRAN and CounterPath Partner on IP Softphone

Softphone Will Complement ADTRAN's NetVanta 7100 IP-PBX-Switch-Router to Address Needs of Mobile and Remote Workers

(NASDAQ: ADTN) a leading supplier of IP-based networking solutions have partnered in the development of a IP softphone for use with ADTRAN's newly announced NetVanta® 7100 IP PBX-switch-router. This new co-branded IP softphone is designed to extend the convenience and cost savings of VoIP to mobile, home and branch office users by providing the ability to use PCs or laptops as a phone via an easy to use, feature rich Graphical User Interface (GUI).
