(OTCBB: CTPS), the leading provider of VoIP (Voice over IP) and Video over IP SIP softphones, today announced that the companies have entered into a strategic partnership to integrate CounterPath’s award-winning softphone technology into wyndstorm™ — YFonGlobal’s social network and social media product offering.

As a result of this collaboration, members of private-labeled wyndstorm™ social networks will be able to engage in Instant Messaging, and make and receive voice and video calls with other wyndstorm™ community members worldwide. Users will also have an option to make international voice and video calls to people outside the wyndstorm™ community. Popular CounterPath softphone features including Caller ID, Conferencing, Call Waiting, Voice Mail, Call Logs and Do Not Disturb, will be included in the integrated product. The new capabilities will be available to users on both Windows and Mac operating systems.
