Rahim Rehmat

As Vice President Client Development for CounterPath, Rahim is responsible for the development and customization of the company’s desktop and mobile softphone applications. Rahim has been with CounterPath for over 10 years and worked on consumer and enterprise unified communication engagements overseeing projects from concept to deployment including support and maintenance. Rahim is passionate about the technology and led the team responsible for the Rogers One Number™ over-the-top (OTT) solution resulting in a BCTIA Technology Impact Award for achievements on the project. In addition, Rahim has been instrumental in leading deployment of CounterPath software to customers around the world including 8x8, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Ericsson, Genesys, Telmex and many others.

Earlier in his career Rahim worked in a variety of roles including product development, application and system engineering and software team lead on automated real-time equipment controls software deployed at semiconductor fabrication facilities in North America and EMEA.

Rahim holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University (British Columbia, Canada).
