CounterPath Corporation (NASDAQ: CPAH) (TSX: CCV), a global provider of award-winning over-the-top (OTT) Unified Communications solutions for enterprises and carriers, today announced its new Bria for Salesforce application is now available through the Salesforce AppExchange, empowering businesses to connect with customers, partners and employees in a whole new way. The price for Bria for Salesforce is $25.00 per user per month targeted at users of Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions of Salesforce’s Sales and Service Clouds.
According to data from industry analysts Capterra and Gartner1, the total CRM market is estimated to be more than 13 million users, with Salesforce leading with a share of 18% or more than 2.3 million subscribers, of which the majority represent the addressable market for Bria for Salesforce. Bria for Salesforce enables a current Salesforce user to have an integrated application that enables voice, video, messaging, presence and screen sharing overlaying the enterprise’s existing communications network. The application integrates the Bria softphone and Salesforce into a single interface through which a salesperson can communicate with their customers while having access to all the relevant customer data.
“SMBs and enterprises alike are looking to link the interactions between their customers and their sales representatives,” said Todd Carothers, EVP of Marketing and Products at CounterPath. “Bria provides Salesforce users with an integrated calling, instant messaging, and screen sharing solution that is easily accessed from within the Salesforce application. With this, sales representatives will be able to perform their roles more efficiently, while Bria for Salesforce automatically captures in-context information, such as frequency of inbound and outbound call data, presentations, demonstrations and multi-party calls, detailing their customer interactions. As important, managers can then monitor the call flow between the sales representatives and customers to make better decisions through the analysis of the data to ultimately improve revenue.”
“Companies are looking to transform the way they connect with customers, partners and employees to thrive in the age of the customer,” said Todd Surdey, SVP, ISV Sales, Salesforce. “By leveraging the power of the Salesforce App Cloud, CounterPath provides customers with an exciting new way to accelerate business success with social, mobile and connected cloud technologies.”
Jeff Leroux, SVP Sales and Services of NewzSocial said, “As a long-time Salesforce user, Bria with Salesforce enables us to better understand our customer relationships, and to enhance the productivity of our customer facing employees. We look forward to participating in the Bria for Salesforce Beta Program, so we can start enjoying the benefits of a more efficient organization immediately.”
