VoIP as a Driver for Growth in Telecommunications To Be Presented by NYSSA

The New York Society of Security Analysts will present its conference, VoIP as a Driver for Growth in Telecommunications “Not If, But When,” on December 3, 2003. VoIP (Voice-over Internet Protocol) is bringing new hope to the troubled telecom industry. Once a profitable business, telecom is now a low-margin commodity activity. VoIP, however, offers countless possibilities for service creation, lower capital expenditures and increased operating efficiencies. This new paradigm of telecommunication is one of the few bright spots in the industry, and is gaining increased attention from those within the industry and the press.

Companies presenting include: 8×8, Inc. (EGHT), AudioCodes Ltd. (AUDC), Cbeyond Communications, iBasis, Inc. (IBAS), I-Sector Corporation (ISEC), Norstan, Inc. (NRRD), TELUS Corporation (TU), VocalTec Communications Ltd. (VOCL) and XTen Networks, Inc.

The conference will be held on December 3, 2003, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, at the Harvard Club, 27 West 44th Street, New York, NY. Fees: $150 NYSSA members, $250 non-members for registrations by November 18. Fees $70 higher November 19 to November 28. After November 28, register at the door; additional $50 charge. No charge for press with credentials. A complete agenda and registration form is available at www.nyssa.org/events/120303-telecom-voip-industry-conference.html.

The New York Society of Security Analysts is a not for profit, educational organization, that has been educating and informing investment decision-makers since 1937.
