Before you download X-Lite, please note:

In order to use X-Lite to make audio calls to softphone/mobile/landline numbers and make video calls/send Instant Messages to softphones, you require a VoIP (Voice over IP) or broadband service subscription with a local service provider or ISP. Please contact your local service provider to subscribe.

In order to use X-Lite Demo, you do not require a separate VoIP service subscription, however, you will only be able to connect to other X-Lite users.

CounterPath offers two types of X-Lite available for download:

If you are already a VoIP or Broadband service subscriber (i.e. you receive VoIP service from your local Service Provider or local IP-PBX), X-Lite 3.0 lets you make audio calls to any softphone, mobile or landline number, and make video calls and send IMs to any softphone which supports these functions.
