Overview
Quick Conference (QC) is a simple, flexible and scalable meet-me audio conferencing solution for small, medium or large-sized businesses. QC offers a cost-effective, premises-based alternative to hosted conferencing services — encouraging businesses to conduct more conferences and take advantage of increased collaboration opportunities among employees, customers and partners. QC can also be deployed as a managed or hosted service, residing both inside and outside the enterprise network.
Highlights for Users
- Feature Rich - Quick Conference offers a wide range of audio conferencing capabilities normally associated with high-end audio conferencing solutions and hosted services, including: moderator and administrator web dashboard (for conference control and bridge creation), customizable music on hold, bridge security features, loudest speaker display, dial-out capability, high-definition recording, scheduling and reporting.
- Simple - QC is as easy to access as dialing an extension — all you need is a telephone number, and a conference ID to create or participate in a conference call. QC encourages greater conferencing use and promotes team productivity and decision making.
- Rapid Setup and Management - Reservation-less, SIP-based conferences can accommodate a meeting of a dozen participants in a matter of seconds. On-demand bridges are dynamically created, while reserved bridges only take a minute to configure via telephone or our intuitive web interface. QC does not need to be setup in advance or limited to specific individuals.
Highlights for Enterprise
- Cost effective - Quick Conference eliminates costly per-minute per person audio port surcharges and monthly subscription fees. With QC, your audio conferencing becomes cost effective to run and maintain — accelerating payback to a matter of months. On-demand audio conferencing has emerged as one of the most compelling ways to improve productivity, control costs, streamline business processes and collaborate more efficiently.
- Open, standards-based - QC compliments any PBX through SIP trunking or a SIP/TDM gateway. QC uses a simplified SIP message interface (with media relay) to reduce inter-operability issues, and can be installed on a standard, cost-effective hardware platform running Linux. QC offers flexibile deployment options and be located on-premisis, or offsite by a managed Service Provider.
- Secure and Scalable - QC offers a range of security features to ensure that the privacy and integrity of a conference call is maintained at all times — including (Optional) System Access Code, Bridge Reservation PIN, Participant PIN and conference locking capability. QC cost-effectively scales from 10 to 200+ ports.
