Enterprise Mobility Solution

Overview

The CounterPath Enterprise Mobility Gateway (EMG) solution enables mobile unified communications by extending enterprise telephony, voicemail and corporate directory services-together with presence, Instant Messaging and conferencing capabilities-to cell phones, smartphones and dual-mode devices over cellular networks.

The EMG solution is comprised of two components:

Bria Mobile* - a mobile client application for popular models of cellular devices that provides a mobile interface for accessing enterprise Unified Communications.
* Please note that Bria Mobile is not sold separately; it is only sold in conjunction with our mobility solutions.

Enterprise Mobility Gateway - a gateway that resides on standard server hardware and serves as the federation point between the corporate back-office servers (IP PBX, voicemail, IM and Presence servers, Unified Messaging) and the Bria Mobile client software.

Workforce Benefits

The EMG solution enables your workforce to perform a variety of advanced collaborative functions such as searching the corporate directory, dialing by extension number, using visual voicemail and holding group calls with predefined groups of users.

Enterprise Benefits

Using the web-based user interface of the EMG, administrators can start, stop and reload server processes, update operating parameters, monitor users, track messaging statistics, and manage the distribution of client software.
