An enterprise-grade VoIP application, Bria Android Edition is a highly secure and standards-based softphone that works over both 3G and Wi-Fi networks. Providing enterprises and other commercial users with a reliable, easy-to-implement solution, CounterPath’s latest mobile application helps improve employee productivity while reducing communications costs.

Bria Android Edition strengthens CounterPath’s leadership position as a provider of VoIP solutions for smartphones, as well as Mac, Linux and Windows based desktops and laptops. This portfolio includes Bria iPhone Edition for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and with the addition of Bria Android Edition, CounterPath now offers VoIP solutions for the world’s two fastest-growing smartphone operating systems.

Compatible with any smartphone running Android V2.1 or later, Bria Android Edition’s features include:

  • Support on any SIP-compliant server to enable rapid implementation
  • Multi-tasking support for background operation, such as fielding incoming calls while using other applications
